News: Pontevedra Biennial, June 21st – September 30th, 2025.
Arvin Golrokh (Tehran, 1992) is an Iranian artist based between Tehran and Turin. Through painting and drawing, he explores institutional control over collective perception, focusing on visual propaganda and cultural erasure. His dense, layered compositions rework imagery to reactivate suppressed historical memories, subverting imposed narratives through visual saturation, authoritative figures in alienating contexts, and an expressive use of colour that disrupts the coherence of the image.
